Godzilla vs. The Cyborg Whale

Godzilla: The Original Animated Series, Vol. 1It's the adventures of Godzilla, King of the Monsters ... Scooby-Doo style! Co-produced by Hanna-Barbera and Toho, the series followed a team of scientists conducting their research on the high seas -- whenever there was danger, the group called upon Godzilla to bail them out.

The 1970s Saturday morning cartoon aired as part of various lineups, including The Godzilla Power Hour (along with episodes of Jana of the Jungle), The Godzilla Super 90 (Godzilla and Jana, plus reruns of Jonny Quest), The Godzilla/Globetrotters Adventure Hour, The Godzilla/Dynomutt Hour, and The Godzilla/Hong Kong Phooey Hour. (On rare occasions, the network even aired it as a standalone show called Godzilla-- imagine that!) More info at Wiki Zilla.

Watch a whole episode right here -- but be warned, it's not pretty.
