The next round of Doctor Who will actually be two rounds: The BBC and Steven Moffat say the 2011 season will be split into two blocks -- Easter and Autumn -- with a "game-changing" cliffhanger in the middle. "The split series is hugely exciting," Moffat told the Edinburgh International Television Festival. "Because viewers will be treated to two premieres, two finales and more event episodes. For the kids it will never be more than a few months to the next Doctor Who! Easter, Autumn, Christmas!!"
Watch Moffat make the announcement.
By the way, this year's Christmas special reportedly involves Yeti.
