Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #1 -- here's the damage

So, IDW's brand-new comic Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters debuted last week ... and sold out in one day. Part of the enormous buzz around the come was the brilliant idea to have 80 variant covers, 75 of which were customized to individual comics retailers. (See all 80 covers here at Bleeding Cool.)

Meanwhile, Toho Kingdom has posted a variety of GKOM info about the new issue as well as upcoming issues. Links here:
Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters Lead Up (Updated) (Feb 26)
Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #4 / Gangsters & Goliaths #1 (Mar 18)
Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters #5 Variant (Mar 29)

And my favorite bit of news of all (as seen in an advertisement found in Kingdom of Monsters #1): The mini-series Godzilla: Gangsters & Goliaths, which promises mobsters and monsters on Monster Island! That 5-issue extravanganza kicks off in June. More info from Toho Kingdom at the above link.
